Daniel Hernried is a master's student in Dominican University of California’s Art and Marriage and Family Therapy program, a substitute teacher, and a tabletop role-playing game facilitator for the Nexus Station. Daniel enjoys supporting others in creatively expressing and finding themselves, meeting milestones, and fostering resilience while navigating today's demanding, rapidly changing culture that often discourages playful and meaningful connections.
Daniel’s love and passion for the arts began when he started studio arts and acting over a decade ago. Daniel combined his interests in creative expression and well-being, receiving a BA in Art and Psychology at Whitman College. His interest in tabletop role-playing games began as a high school special education teacher for students experiencing emotional disturbances.
Daniel emphasizes respecting autonomy, intersectionality, and multicultural differences within all contexts of his work. As Daniel works toward graduating in 2025, his past work shows no shortage of empathy. Daniel is excited to have the opportunity to provide an immersive experience and establish healthy, positive connections with players.
